shortDATE is an application targeted for the retail grocery industry. Upon receiving a perishable product on the loading dock, you enter the date of manufacture and the date of expiration; shortDATE will calculate the following information for you:

- Days since manufacture

- Days left before expiration

- Total shelf-life of product

- Percentage expired

- Percentage remaining

shortDATE also has a 'Quick Camera' button to take a picture of your product and/or label.

Retailers can use this information to get credit from their distributors based on depleted shelf-life. Simple, but eliminates the ol’pencil & paper calculations.
