The Shift Alerts app helps nurses, personal support workers, and other caregivers keep track of patient related tasks while on duty. The app enables the caregiver to schedule reminders for patient interventions such as vitals, medication, blood glucose checks, and bed turns. It also enables the user to create new custom interventions. The "Start Shift" and "End Shift" options turn alerts on and off between shifts, and all of the past alerts disappear from the user’s device once they have been viewed or acknowledged after a 12 hour window. Patient identifiers include Name, Room, and Bed. This is a great tool for anyone who cares for multiple patients during a given shift, or for an extended period of time.
