Log all your sensor data in the background

to a drop-box file.

Added photo capture also, for balloon experiments.

Also have some PC software to show live data just

This app has two parts a Logger and Receiver,

so logger goes on the tracking device and the

receiver can see all data.

The logging phone can show status updates in

the menu bar when a sample taken.

Also show status Icons see below.

If pressure >< 4 mb will show sun or storm icon

If magnetic field > 200 uT for all those ghost lovers

out there.

The Transmitter will log all data to a .txt file

on drop-box, and the receiver will decode

and display the information.

Also you can view on a PC with your drop-box account,

The app uses the drop-box API from drop-box

and can only write data to a created folder

called Apps.

Instructions.

1) Install onto 2 phones

2) First phone set Transmit Settings

-> Sample time in seconds 10 sec min

-> File mode append will append data

Reset only latest sample

-> File name eg data logged.txt

-> Max file size ( Keep small to save data )

1000=1000 Bytes

-> Status alarms ON=Show in status bar

when sample taken and alerts.

-> Start logger, will close and wake up

on the time you set

-> Stop will stop the logging, also a phone

reset will stop the logging

->Set picture name and logger text file name

->Set rear camera resolution

->Front or back camera

->Single picture or different picture

each sample.

When start logging is clicked you will be asked to

link your drop-box account to save the file.

The second phone press menu->Read mode

Menu-> set read file ( Set to the transmitter phone file)

eg fred.txt

Now every 10 seconds the screen will show all

the sensor data with direction and more!!.

Notes.

High speed logging <60 seconds will use battery

I found once/hour update no real effect on battery.

This uses your mobile data unless WIFI, so keep

a check as for example once a minute at 2 k file

would be 120 k/Hour 2.8 M byte/week .

This would be fine as most data planes

are 1G(1000Mb)/month.

Also never install on any phone without there

permission! and best to leave status updates

on so you can see when data logged

and file size.
