Version 2.1.1 - updated for iOS 7. With Rhythm Lab, you can copy, save, or share any rhythm pattern as an image. You can send tap exercise results in an email, or easily create worksheets using any rhythm pattern from the app. Edit the worksheets, create pdf files, send in an email, or open in other apps that handle pdf documents.Rhythm Lab 2.2.1 is designed for students, teachers, and any musician who would like to improve rhythmic performance and accuracy. There is a large number of patterns of all types, including:- 10 levels of single- and two-handed rhythm patterns similar to rhythms found in standardized music exams- Special patterns that emphasize certain types of rhythm notation, like rests, ties, triplets, quintuplets, cross-rhythms (2 against 3, 3 against 4), unusual meters.EXERCISESRhythm Lab provides different sets of exercises to meet different needs. All sets of exercises are available from the main screen, and it is easy to scroll from one exercise to the other in a set simply by swiping the pattern left or right.Levels-- Levels from 1 to 10 - similar to the levels of standard music skills test programs.-- Levels 1A - 10A are single-line (one hand) rhythms.-- Levels 1B-10B are double-line (two hand) rhythms.Patterns- Many different types of patterns, including rests, ties, cross-rhythms, and more.Composers- Rhythm Lab currently provides rhythm patterns from works by composers: Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, Gottschalk, Haydn, Joplin, and Mozart.Drums- Single-line (snare style) for Right and Left hand (color coded and marked R or L).- Drum kit: three pads - hi hat, snare, and kick drum. The pattern notation is on a five-line percussion staff, using standard notation for hi hat, snare, and kick drum. There are four sets of drum kit exercises - straight fours, triplets, Latin-style, and assymetric meters (5/4, 5/8, 7/8).INSTANT FEEDBACKThe app gives immediate sound and visual feedback with a display of number correct, percent correct, “hit”, “miss” sounds and visuals.CUSTOMIZATION- Metronome feature gives users control over tempo; the metronome speed is scaled based on difficulty of the exercise. Save any new metronome setting as default for that exercise.- Settings feature allows the user to choose tap sounds, metronome sounds, volume levels, tap precision (from very loose to very tight), and applause volume.- Note duration switch provides two options: tap only, without testing note lengths, and note-length testing (requires holding notes for the correct duration).
