Qur’an Academy is the World’s First Smart Qur’an Memorization & Revision App. We envision a world where our technology is at the forefront of helping every Muslim become a more effective Quran Memorizer & Reviser! Please note: We will add more features and we’ll also make the experience more user-friendly through time after studying user behavior Insha’Allah. Your feedback is very important to us.Millions of people who memorize Quran always make mistakes (often repeat mistakes) when they revise. It’s because people don’t have much data on the strength of their memorization/revision. This is why Quran Academy was born. It’s a humble effort to provide smarter data to help folks become more effective with their memorization and revision Insha’Allah.It’s very flexible and is meant for anybody who wants to memorize at least some portion of the Quran, no matter how old or young you are.This is our first version and here are the features (still a work in progress!):1) Select Qur’an Type: Choose between the Medina Mushaf (common in Arab countries) and Urdu Mushaf (common in Pakistan, India, etc). Within the Urdu Mushaf, you can select how many lines you want to see per page – 13,15, or 16 lines!2) Create memorization lessons: You can create memorization lessons and everything that’s not part of the lesson is blurred out so you can laser focus on an individual memorization lesson.3) View previous lessons: Revise your previous memorization lessons for stronger retention.4) Revise lesson or page: You can hide your lesson and move your finger to make the text appear. You can then double tap the word to mark mistakes5) Record your recitation: You can record your own recitation, listen to yourself, and track your mistakes!6) Track your mistakes: You can keep track of your mistakes. If you make a mistake the first time, the text gets highlighted in yellow. The second time you make a mistake, it will get highlighted in orange and the third time it highlights it in red, indicating a common, repeat mistake. You can also unhide your mistakes to test how well you know the page.7) Hide verses: You can hide verses to test yourself on specific areas throughout the page.8) View similar verses across each Juz that always confuse us when we revise. By comparing/contrasting them, you’ll be able to differentiate the similar verses more effectively.9) Take Quizzes: Currently, you can only take a quiz for an entire Juz, and the quizzes popup towards the end of the Juz. Quiz results are saved in the dashboard. Down the road, you'll be able to take quizzes on lessons and pages. 10) Dashboard: Our dashboard will allow you to track your Qur'an memorization. You can view your progress on a certain Juz, see how many mistakes you made per Juz as well as your average quiz score for each Juz. Through time, we will have more robust analytics that will display deep data on your memorization metrics.We hope you like our very first version of Qur’an Academy. We still have a lot of work to do.
