Orchard Farm Shop is owned and operated by Chris Cole and his Partner Valerie and specialises in selling quality pork and eggs produced on site. Pigs and chickens have been reared on this site for over 40 years. Traditional straw based buildings are used and animals are feed diets containing natural ingredients such as wheat and barley, much of which is also sourced locally.The Farm is regularly inspected by our specialist veterinary surgeon to ensure all our animals are happy and healthy.Pigs are slaughtered at a local abattoir within 15 miles, all transport is carried out by our farm staff and the carcasses are butchered on site. We are keen to promote as lower food miles as possible. All pork is fresh each week and allowed to hang to develop flavours naturally.
