Newsreel is the only RSS Reader in the app store with intelligence, letting you read more news faster and easier than ever. We have enabled Newsreel with a rules engine that allows you to:

- Automatically read subscriptions after one, two, three or more days.

- Identify identical articles and marking all but one of the as read.

- Create custom rules based on keywords that automatically mark any articles as read or tag them with a custom name for easier reading.

==GOOGLE READER ACCOUNT REQUIRED==

Newsreel uses your existing Google Reader account to automatically retrieve all your subscriptions, folders and layout. All you need to provide is your account name and password. This information is only sent to the Google Reader api for authentication and never used elsewhere in the application.

==KEY FEATURES==

Our Newsreel interfaces allows you to quickly scroll through the list of articles by folder, subscription or all at one time, automatically marking them as read when you are scroll. The main view can show all, unread only, starred only, or liked only folders and subscriptions.

When reading articles in our intuitive interface, several actions can be performed such as:

- Send to Instapaper

- View article using Google Mobilizer

- View article using Instapaper Mobilizer

- Mail article

- Mail link

- Mark as (un)read

- Mark as (un)starred

- Mark as (not) like

- Share/unshare the article

==Preferences==

After installing the application, be sure to check out the Newsreel panel in your devices' System Preferences. There are a ton of ways to customize your Newsreel experience, some of which are:

- Automatically mark articles as read when scrolling.

- Sync on start up.

- Use shake motion to start sync process.

- Font size.

- Number of summary lines when showing the article.

The Newsreel application is free and ad supported. Alternatively you can choose to turn the ads off through an In App purchase. Tap the settings icon on the main view, then tap "Turn off the ads" row. You will be asked for your iTunes account information through an In App purchase.
