This is an animated New Year Countdown, but it is also a fully configurable countdown to any event you like. When in "New Year's Mode" this application counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the next January First. An important distinction is that it will work every year into the future automatically it is not set to a specific January 1st. On January 1st the New Year is welcomed in and then the countdown begins again on January 2nd.
