This app helps to show you one of the reason why your phone lags when playing a game! Android kills the background services, and then restart them back, and this kept repeating and repeating.

This app reads adb logcat events, and google have made the logs not readable in Jelly Bean, hence this app will need root on Jelly Bean devices.

How to use:

1. Start WhyLag

2. Select Clear Logs

3. Play a big game, e.g. Dead Trigger for a minimum of 5 minutes.

4. exit the game

5. Start Log Analyst

6. Select Analyse Logs, and wait for it to finish.

7. Select Event Grouped, am_proc_kill and am_proc_start should top the list

8. Select am_proc_start to see the list of processes that are started

9. select any entry to view the starts in grouped view.
