The app uses your GPS location and automatically shows hotels nearby when you turn your camera on.
It shows hotels on the live video image.
Other than augmented reality it also gives you the option to use maps and find the route to the hotel.
The app will work best in American cities - New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc. Future version will also include mediated reality and improved augmented reality in European cities (Paris, London, etc.), as well as augmented reality for fast food restaurants, night clubs and more.
The app is a completely free without ads and open source (GPL v3).
We are actively working on a pro version which will have way more than the 6 most popular hotel chains in the app + improved search and location.
