There is a lot of great information out there about Disney World. However, we feel that there’s too much information out there for someone who has never been there. There are many topics that are very interesting, but may not be particularly important to a first time visitor. This application (and our related website) is an attempt to provide a resource to the Disney Neophyte to help make their first trip as magical as possible.

We are experienced Disney World visitors and have been to the parks multiple times over the years. Your first visit to Disney can be intimidating – there is so much to do and experience, and it’s almost impossible to know where to start. We hope you’ll use this site as a resource to help figure it out.

This site has a couple of different types of articles – attraction reviews and essays. The attraction reviews are intended to be summaries of what each attraction is and some tips for first timers… ranging from the best time of day to visit, identifying good attractions for younger children, making you aware of height restrictions, and just overall trying to give you a summary of what to expect for the attraction.

The essays, which are labelled as “First Timer Thoughts” , are usually more in depth discussions about an aspect of visiting Disney World – topics like staying on Disney property vs. off property, an explanation of what a Fastpass is, or tips to maximize your enjoyment of character interactions.
