Data Gatherer enables any android device with Bluetooth support to gather data from its built in hardware and provide it to just about any other device with Bluetooth connectivity including, other mobile devices, Arduino's, and PC's.

DOES NOT REQUIRE A ROOTED DEVICE!

Once your android device is paired with another simply start sending serial requests from your mobile device, Arduino, or PC for the following information and features.

•Latitude

•Longitude

•Altitude

•Heading

•Speed

•Accelerometer X,Y,Z

•Gyroscope X,Y,Z

•Camera Light On/Off

•Vibrate for X milliseconds

•Get HTTP requests

•Image Capture

•Get Image Data

Some features will be unavailable on devices without the required sensors or hardware.

Connection Information:

Data Bits: 8

Stop Bits: 1

Parity: None

The end to all commands and received data are identified by a byte 13 (return) character.

Up coming features:

•Non volatile storage e.g. Create,delete,edit files.

•USB Host mode support.
