Christ Community began with a vision: to create a community of Christians in Greater Waterbury dedicated to living for Christ 24/7. Casey Sabella, an ordained minister since 1981, together with his wife Pat did not originally intend to plant a new church.The idea first surfaced when they invited friends over for dinner and began to pray. The Holy Spirit opened amazing doors and we began weekly services at Crosby High School in the Spring of 2001.Our vision is to reach people of Greater Waterbury with the Good News about Jesus Christ and train them to become effective in life and ministry.
