This app is designed to help participants who are attending the Third Annual Louisiana Bioinformatics Conference in the Digital Media Center at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA, from April 17-18. The conference is co-sponsored by the Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN), the LSU-Tulane Center for Experimental Infectious Disease Research (CEIDR), the Center for Computation and Technology (CCT) and the LSU Office of Research & Economic Development (ORED). The conference aims to expose Louisiana to the cutting edge of Computational Biology, Bioinformatics Research and Applications while also providing a platform for exchange of information and technical knowledge among Louisiana-based scientists involved in different aspects of computational biology & bioinformatics. The Conference program includes four Keynote speakers highlighting each of four thematic sessions identified by the Scientific Committee. The meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange practical information and facilitate future collaborations among attendees. The deadline for registration and guaranteed hotel reservations is Thursday, March 30th, 2015. Participants are encouraged to register early for the conference, since there is limited seating capacity. We invite you to submit abstracts for Oral Presentation/Poster sessions at the conference. The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and make recommendations for Oral or Poster Presentations. Selected abstracts will be included in the printed program and the App for the Conference. Thematic areas include but not limited to: Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Modeling, Proteomics, Drug discovery & medicinal chemistry, Functional genomics, Next-Gen Sequencing Informatics, Data Mining and Visualization, Genome Wide Association Studies, Clinical Genomics, Collaborations & Open Access Innovations, Cancer Informatics, Plant Genomics, Comparative Genomics, Evolutionary Genomics & Phylogenetics, Metagenomics. An updated App with participant presentation and poster times, and a finalized agenda will be added closer to the event. We hope to see you there!!
