Be Safe is an application that is built for people who require immediate assistance during emergency or important situations. The application is an assistive technology application for old people where carer or the person looking after them need not be with them at all times and make sure they get alerted during important situations . This app can also be used by women or children when they travel alone and will be to notify the guardian or partner or friend if they are lost or caught up in an emergency situation.

The main intention is to create a very simple User Interface so that it can be used by old people who suffer from illness such as tremors,to those who have very less technical knowledge on using mobile phones/Tablet and at the same time to people who want their partner, friend or relatives to be notified during important situations.

Currently the application has two features:

•Emergency: On touching this button, a phone call will be generated to the emergency contact which was added during the registration process. Simultaneously, an SMS message containing the CURRENT LOCATION of the person will be send to the emergency contact.

•Where am I?: On touching this button, the location of the current place would be shown to the user and at the same time, the CURRENT LOCATION of the user would be send to Emergency contact in the form of SMS.

Instructions:

1.Register user details and emergency contact details.

2.Login to the application

3.Once logged in to the application ,user need not have to login again as the application will remember details.*

4..Use the features.

*Note:The new version is available for update.It would be better if the previous version is removed and try installing the new version which has new Look and better Location accuracy.
