So there must be at least a thousand other services out there to share your location. Why did I even bother to make another one you might ask.

Well - it's another one of those cases, where many similar products exists - yet none of them really works the way I want it to.

*First of all I realized, that "logging in" for a location service is bad - borderline unnecessary!

*Secondly, apps are superfluous. Why should I install an app for a function that every modern browser can execute (ie. getting your location)?

*Furthermore I want it all displayed with a fully featured google maps, no fancy schmancy social network integration and check-ins, just gimme the map.

*I wanted to be able to share my location with a simple link, so no matter whether the others wanted to share in turn their location, they should at least be able to see mine. Plain and simple.

*Although you can share your location very easily thru whats app - it's rather cumbersome to do that when you're in a group, because whats app doesnt show all your friends on the same map. geoteo can do that.

*Lastly, I never really felt comfortable knowing my location would be saved for all eternity in some database. That's why this site only stores your last location.

The closest app I could find doing all this was glympse (with the exception of requiring an app and NOT saving your location), yet it just felt over engineered. Hence hereby I give you geoteo - the (to my knowledge) easiest way to share YOUR location. cheers!
