WoundEZ is a mobile application for documenting and monitoring wound assessments in Home Health, Podiatry and other settings where wound care is provided. This app provides a standardized wound assessment including wound photography and a unique measurement grid. Pressure Ulcer management tools are included. WoundEZ provides easy wound monitoring and improved communication among all registered users.

Once an agency enrolls in the WoundEZ program, their designated persons will have access to the WoundEZ mobile app on smart phones or tablets. Supervisors/Case Managers will schedule patients to clinicians using the WoundEZ Administration portal from their personal computers. Once the clinician completes and submits the assessment, the supervisor/case manager will have instant access to review the data including healing graphs. The assessment can be saved, printed and/or integrated into the health care record. A good wound assessment is dependent upon the user’s knowledge of wound care. It is recommended that the user become educated in wound care assessments and terminology from their agency educators before using the WoundEZ app. Instructions for measuring wounds are included in the Help section. All other components of the app are fairly intuitive to complete.

Wound assessments are stored in a cloud service that secures patient information according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Only agency approved users will have access to this data.
