The app reads a StrayHat label - just like a regular name label, but with a difference. Add your name, pick a colur, attach it to you child’s item and tell the system what you have attached it to. When its lost, you can mark it as lost and people in your trusted group can be updated. When the item is found, you receive an email telling you what it was, who it belongs to, when it was found and where it is. Whoever in your group goes to the school lost property bin next can collect and update everyone.

Labels can be stuck on and we even have iron-on labels for clothing. Each is unique with a secure QR code for each item.

StrayHat is designed to be used by parents, teachers and the school community to collaborate and find items. A member of the school community can notify the item owner, where the item is, what it is and when it was found. This can be done anonymously.
