Many speed reading apps want you to perform exercises with pre-defined blocks of text. Speedy helps you increase your reading speed while reading content you're actually interested in.

Copy and paste any text into a new article and start reading at the speed you choose. Pause at any time, switch to another article, and Speedy will remember where you were up to.

As you get comfortable, increase the speed. You can also choose how many words are shown at once.

Speedy now has intelligent word alignment (unrelated to Spritz) to aid your word recognition, centre markers, and when paused displays the words surrounding the current word to provide context.
