A simple game to help you and your aging loved ones reclaim few moments of living well.

Aging related dementia and/or Alzheimer creates a never ending challenging day for the patients as well as the care givers. Dementia/Alzheimer patients yearn to experience life, rejoice quality time, connect, and recall things they once knew. Even recognizing simple things they once knew brings a "Sparkle" to their eyes and a million dollar smiles. And that is priceless!

The design and user experience is by design simplest possible so not to be a barrier for elderly. Try a 7" tablet for a good experience.

Game Features

* A slideshow of pictures likely to be familiar to elderly today

* Four categories of pictures: Fruits, Places, Zoo/Animals, Famous People

* 15 pictures in each category. A total of 60 pictures for lots of fun.

* Four modes of play:Tour, Auto play, Interactive with audio description, Auto play with audio description

* Auto play mode does a repeat in a loop until stopped

* Touch a picture for audio description

The structure is simple, you can create your own activity that may be a fit to the abilities of your care receiver. Some ideas to try:

* Sit with them and take them through a tour of pictures. Engage them in conversation based on the picture.

* If they can manage, let them drive the game. The controls are simple like an old tape recorder buttons.

* Put the game in Audio Auto mode and let them just hold the device and rejoice.

* As you or they move images forward, encourage them to touch the screen. The App will speak out the picture title. You may ask them to repeat what the App played.

* You could take them back-n-forth the slides, and ask them to name the picture.
