Solve-It-Blocks – the game with built-in brilliance

Solve-It-Blocks is a brilliant new game that sets increasingly challenging puzzles to unlock your inner genius. Players are asked to arrange nine blocks, one block at a time, to match the design laid out in the challenge.

Sounds simple but each block is unique, with a variety of colours, letters, numbers and symbols assigned to each six sides. This means the probability of getting the right block in the right place in the right order gets progressively harder as players take on bigger challenges.

The really cool thing about this game is that without knowing it, you will be developing your computational thinking skills: numeracy, sequencing, memory, literacy, algebra and communications. Educationalists argue that this fundamental new way of problem solving is the skill for the 21st century and it’s why so much emphasis is placed on computational learning in the school curriculum.

There are two modes of Solve-It-Blocks game to play: a 2D mode and 3D mode. The 3D mode reflecting the physical game when you are building from the bottom up. The 2D and 3D mode allows you to play either against the clock or using you memory.

So far, we have calculated that there are over 3 trillion different combinations, with varying degrees of difficulty, to keep you entertained. And you can take on the challenge as a memory test or race yourself against the clock.
