The galaxy is at war and you pilot a lone blue razor attack ship on a suicide mission in the outer regions. Your mission is to destroy the lethal solar castles protected by rotating energy rings and relentless attack drones. Only the bravest and most skillfull will survive beyond the first few levels.

SolarCastle is a lively retro arcade shooter resembling a combination of the classic game Star Castle and more modern style shoot-em-ups. It provides a unique challenge that makes it different from and a good complement to the many dual thumb stick shooters.

The game includes two different play modes.

- Remix provides a variety of challenges including different ring shapes and enemies.

- Classic is a trip back in time to the 1980s for the purists.
