The goal of the application is providing one with the ability to write notes without using a keyboard. SKTnotes, allows writing characters and saving them sequentially in order to write words and sentences. Additionally, one can add sketches (drawn in the app) between the characters. SKTnotes functions in two different modes – writing and drawing.

When in writing mode – one can choose between writing from left to right (as in English) or writing from right to left (as in Hebrew); it is also possible to work with both modes simultaneously. When in drawing mode– one can draw everything he or she wishes and edit the painting with different colors and line thickness.

This application was developed by Sharon Korenblit and Jenya Pergament as part of a project in the Department of Computer Science in the Technion, Israel.
