The City of Richmond App is the source for all things happening throughout Richmond, BC. This is the first release of the App and is focused on integrating activities, programs and events happening throughout the City. Information is provided to you in a concise manner that makes it easy to discover Richmond. As the app evolves, additional sources of information and services will be added.iBeacon™ TechnologyWe are pleased to also provide you with a unique experience which currently focuses on the Britannia Shipyards National Heritage Site. This site has been preserved by the City of Richmond to reflect life over a hundred years ago. Simply walk through the site using the App as your guide. As you approach different buildings or artifacts, the App will provide you with information about each artifact automatically using Bluetooth iBeacons™. In order to use this service, please ensure that location services are enabled for this App. We do not track user locations or privacy information. This feature is only used to enhanced your experience while learning about heritage sites throughout Richmond.
