Use Where A I to find out where you are, it will show you the latitude, longitude and altitude. You can also view where you are on a map, but this might not work correctly if you are in a building, best use of this application is out in the open.

To further help you there is a basic compass, the needle will all ways point north when turned on.

I have added camera functionality so you can find the compass bearing of a landmark. Whilst out walking if you want to find out what the compass bearing of a landmark of something in the distance, now you can with PinPoint. This is a valuable function when using an ordinance survey map.
