Gamification in and out of the classroom has never been more popular! It is becoming common knowledge that games can be an effective educational tool. Mshopper offers multiple benefits: The game engages learners and promotes knowledge retention, all in a fail-safe learning environment.

In Mshopper, students need to hunt for question QR codes which they will scan to answer questions to increase their virtual cash amounts. They will need to decide what to purchase, and scan product qr code to the products to their shopping carts. Additional challenges will be included by incorporating healthy eating. Students will need to purchase "healthy" food to gain more game points. Additional points will be given if they purchase food that completes the food pyramid - by having a balanced diet.

Mshopper allows for the game to be played both in classrooms and out of the classroom i.e. using the whole school as a playground or during outdoor events.
