The possibilities are endless!How it works: The Instant Artist app lets you see through photographs and images onto your work surface so you can trace what you see. In other words, it makes photographs and images see-through, and utilizes the camera lens of your device to let you see your work surface below. Essentially, you look through your photo onto your paper and this allows you to trace photographs with incredible detail. The end result can be incredible sketches that can stand alone as works of art, or can be used as a basis for creating with other mediums such as painting, pastels, inks, charcoals, etc. And while the Instant Artist is great for creating finished works, it is also a great teacher for learning about proportions and shading.How to use Instant Artist App:1. Open the app2. Click the camera icon to access your photos3. On the next screen, adjust the photo by pinching, sliding, rotating, then, click the drawing icon (hand holding pencil) when you have the image just right.4. Elevate your device above your work area/paper. 5. On the drawing screen, set the opacity slider so you can see enough details in the photo and still see your pencil/pen, etc. On this screen, you can double tap to zoom in/zoom out, pinch to expand or shrink. This allows you to draw with extreme detail. A few notes: 1. If your work area gets out of focus on the drawing screen, touch the focus button and it will focus on the work surface. 2. The back arrow on the drawing screen takes you to the previous screen, where you can select a new photo. A few tips:1. Once you start working, don't move your device or your paper. If you do, readjust the device so your work realigns with the paper.2. The higher the device, the larger the image that can be drawn.3. The higher quality your photo, the more details you will be able to draw.
