We are the Near North Student Robotics Initiative, a robotics team representing the city of North Bay, Ontario and surrounding area.

We compete with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a robotics competition dedicated to promoting science and technology to youth. FIRST game challenges change yearly and do not work on principles of battling and defeating your opponents, but rather Gracious Professionalism.

Gracious Professionalism is competing like crazy but helping out other teams as they may be your teammate in another match.

Each year we build a robot to compete in the First Robotics Competition, the largest competition in the FIRST family. We also compete in the VEX Robotics Competition as a way to train new members, and build 4 robots for this competition in the fall.

This app is for the public and FIRST Teams alike to provide helpful resources and access to our social media to stay connected to us throughout the year.
