HOW IT WORKSYou must either hold your iPhone or wear it with you (for example: in a pocket, armband, belt clip, or backpack) while you are being active. The app tracks activity by detecting rhythmic movement up and down. Activities in which you are moving your legs such as running and walking will be counted. Unfortunately, activities like swimming in which you can’t hold or wear the device with you, or stationary workout activities, which don’t involve much movement of your iPhone, cannot be tracked by the app. NOTESGalactive only works with iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6Plus, running iOS 8.0 or newer.
