Have you ever wanted to keep your text messages from prying eyes?

DaVinci SMS is a simple cypher program that allows you and another iPhone user to encrypt your messages prior to sending them via SMS. Don’t worry! This is not 128 bit encryption over a secured network that only the National Security Agency can break! It is simply a way to keep a message private until you’re ready to read it! You and the sender/receiver must verbally agree on a five (7) character key prior to unlocking the message.

**To Send

1. Tap inside the message box to enter your message. When finished, press “Done”.

2. Press the “Key” button to display the key cryptex (picker) and set your key for your message. *The key is saved each time it is changed. You can change your key depending on the recipient. You can also “Reset” the key AFTER encryption to keep it private.

3. “Encrypt” your message.

4. Choose a contact/recipient  *Make sure that the recipient has a mobile number type available. Once the contact is selected, you will return to the “Encrypt” screen.

5. Send the message. *Your encrypted message is conveniently copied to the clipboard. The text messaging application will be launched with the contact information pre-filled. Simply paste the encrypted message to the message bubble and send!

**To Receive

1.“Copy” your encrypted message from the iPhone Text Messaging application

2. Paste the message into the “Decrypt” Panel

3. Set your key

4. Decrypt!
