This is an application by students from Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central.

Crime Alerts @ SG is an application that provide crimes around the location where the user is. The app also provides information to users about what to do when witnessing a crime or seeing a crime occurring.

This app will complement the Neighbourhood Watch Crime Alert Message Board initiative, to engage and greatly increase the residents’ crime prevention awareness and alertness and in turn, prevent them from becoming victims of crime.

This application is one of the project submissions by ITE students for the annual Security Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) programme. SAFE is an initiative by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to get students to come up with innovative solutions to solve safety and security problems in Singapore.

This app contains only factual information around Serangoon Neighbourhood Police Centre. Any other crimes listing are fictitious and for illustration purposes only.
