APROCO is an acronym meaning Accounting Processes and Controls.

It is an exerciser designed to reinforce accounting students' understanding of the major accounting applications (e.g., revenue, cash receipts, purchases, payments and payroll) and corresponding accounting controls-- from a manual accounting perspective.

App components include:

1. Organizational chart of a typical product-based company.

2. Building cutaway (physical view) where the "books" reside.

3. Animated flow of transactions through the building.

4. Animated data flow diagrams for each major accounting application with supporting narrative.

5. Control algorithm. This feature recaps the basic internal controls (of each application) in an algorithmic fashion using a nested do-loop form of navigation and corresponding generic internal control menu. The algorithm transforms each generic internal control into a "specific" control, conditional on the specific function in question.
